Veronica Mars, Final

I like it overall, very fun show, great dialog. If you’re pretty bleh when it comes to Kisten Bell’s acting in her movie career, don’t let that taint you here. She does a far superior job in this role.
Season 3 (the final season) is definitely inferior to the first two, as apparently some CW executive thought the show’s formula over the first two seasons (One big over-arching mystery for the season, plus a bunch of little ones) made it “too confusing.” That being so, for season 3 they broke it down more into a 9 episode + 6 episode + 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 mystery split, instead of a 22-episode span. Pretty weak. Additionally, as I would expect tends to happen with how people insist on setting prime time TV dramas in the ol’ field of high school, some of the character interaction charm falls off when Veronica starts doing the college thing.
Also, in the first two seasons as everything for the big mystery starts falling into place and adding up, the last 3-4 episodes are just awesomely interesting and suspenseful, and action packed. Season 3 finale just felt rushed, and lackluster. Pity.
Alas, I recommend adding it to your pile of TV to watch. I’m sad it’s over, but hey.
